ARC FAQs
What is an ARC?
An ARC stands for advanced reader copy. These are copies of books that are yet to be released that authors provide to people willing to read and review their books ahead of their publication date.
How do I become an ARC Reviewer?
Each author is different in their expectations! The easiest way to start is to ask an author if you could be a part of their "street team" to help them with current or future ARCs. For me, I'll have any featured ARC opportunities here on this page-- all you need to do is sign up!
What is expected of me as an ARC Reviewer?
In exchange for providing free, early copies of their books, authors typically want their ARC team to leave reviews for their books on retail sites or review boards where their books can be purchased or discussed. This isn't always a requirement, but it's common practice. ARC reviewers can also help authors by spreading the word across social media to help the book gain traction.
